Change in management at NOTEBORN
Heerlen, October 1st, 2020.
The handover has been planned for a long time: On October 1st, 2020, Bas Philippens will take over the management of NOTEBORN BV. With this change, the subsidiary of Vivonio Furniture GmbH is sending a strong signal of future developments.
The management change at NOTEBORN has been planned for a long time: For the past decades, the former CEO and owner Norman Noteborn has developed NOTEBORN into a highly professional manufacturer of custom-made dressing rooms and wardrobes. The tradition of craftsmanship combined with the latest production technologies and high service are the key to the company’s success today.
From October 1st, 2020, Bas Philippens will take the role as CEO for NOTEBORN. Bas Philippens has a degree in engineering, and he has extensive experience in operational management functions and as managing director. Originally from the Heerlen area, he has held positions at corporations such as Nestlé and GE Healthcare in Germany, most recently at the cosmetics company Estée Lauder in Antwerpen. Bas Philippens has worked in corporations as well as in start-ups and family businesses. After holding several specialised management positions, Bas Philippens is pleased to be able to take up a cross-functional management position at NOTEBORN.
The synergies within the Vivonio Group will continue to be exploited under the new leadership with a close collaboration between NOTEBORN and the sister company KA Interiør in Denmark, which also produces bespoke wardrobes. To achieve synergies across the companies, the Sales Director for a number of years, Kristian Bonde, has been appointed Commercial Director for both companies and in Vivonio Schranksysteme.
